Discover Bethelene’s Illustrated Children’s Books
Bethelene Hart creates playful, compassionate stories that support children’s growth and emotional literacy. The Magic Pee and Other Surprises makes potty learning fun, inclusive, and free of shame, Ben’s Big Feelings in a Little Body helps kids understand and navigate big emotions with kindness and humour, while Big Feelings in a Little Body: Welcoming A New Baby is about learning how to handle all the emotions that come with welcoming a new baby into the family.
These books encourage confidence, acceptance and offer support for children’s feelings.
Bethelene is a Parenting & Childcare Expert with over 30 years of experience supporting families, educators, and schools across Canada. She’s worked as:
Special Needs Resource Educator at the Child Development Institute
Consulted with hundreds of schools and daycares
Leads workshops on emotional connection, child behaviour, and relationship-based parenting
Author of several children’s books that support emotional literacy
After being misdiagnosed as a child and placed in a remedial class where no one believed in her potential, Bethelene returned to school as a mature student, graduated with honours, and became the advocate she needed growing up.
Today, she speaks on stages, leads workshops, and supports families with real, relatable tools that transform how we raise and connect with kids.
