Ms. Hart is an expert in her field as an Early Childhood Educator with over 30 years of experience, guiding educators, caregivers and parents. Bethelene is a facilitator for workshops and seminars for professionals, parents and caregivers.
She was employed by a renowned children's mental health agency for 14 years, specializing in Positive Behaviour Guidance. Ms. Hart worked as a Field Advisor for Humber College Early Childhood Education students. She was employed as an assistant for the Toronto District School Board in Special Education and a Parenting Worker for the Family Literacy Program. |
She is the mother of 5 children and her honest and humorous experiences are woven into her writing and in-person interactions. Bethelene is well respected in her field. She has been a committee member for Infant Mental Health through Sick Kids Hospital, and is trained in the Ages and Stages screening tool. Bethelene is a trained Roots of Empathy instructor and has worked with families and children who have dealt with family violence. She has training working with Indigenous families, new immigrants, LGBTQ2 families, parents and families dealing with divorce and working with teenagers.
